Live at the Ferry Slip Original Music Series Saturday July 20th from 7-9pm features Animal Masks and RGD. Come out for some great psychedelic and garage rock on the Perth Amboy waterfront! The show is free and all ages. Enjoy great live music, beautiful views of Raritan Bay and visit the Ferry Slip Museum. Also enjoy the food and drinks available along the waterfront.

RGD play Live at the Ferry Slip Sat. July 20th 7pm– RDG, the seasoned, NJ three-piece offers a unique brand of kinetic garage rock, with heavy 60s pop and early 70s glam influences, taken through the lens of thoughtful, fuzz-laden, 90s-style indie rock.  RGD’s new release, Million Reasons, has standout songs including “Not the Way,” “Postcards,” “Take Me Down,” and “Hey Louise,” which has been buzzing on college radio. Animal Masks play Live at the Ferry Slip Sat July 20th 8pm– Animal Masks are a three-piece from NJ with garage/pop/psyche/punk influences.  They were nominated in 2016 for an Asbury Music Award in the Psychedelic/Garage/Surf category. Animal Masks have a  live presence of volume, distortion and hooks that’s been on stages including The Saint, Wonder Bar, Court Tavern, Brighton Bar, Roxy and Dukes, John & Peter’s and more. Live at the Ferry Slip is presented by Perth Amboy Artworks in partnership with the Historic Perth Amboy Ferry Slip Museum and Perth Amboy Mayor Wilda Diaz. Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.

The Perth Amboy Ferry Slip is at 300 Front St. There is limited seating and room for dancing.

Framework String Trio

Framework String Trio play a Jazz repertoire of acoustic Bossa Nova and Swing Tunes. They have been playing together for 10 years. They have played at the New Brunswick Jazz Project, The Raritan Yacht Club, the Ferry Slip and many other venues throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Come out for some fun! 

Forbidden Tropics

Forbidden Tropics is a new band from Perth Amboy playing Afro Peruvian Jazz. They will be performing original songs from their first EP “Road Trip to El Carmen.” They recently performed at the Asbury Park Music Foundation, Chambers 43 and were on the show One More with Brian Erickson. Members were formerly in the popular Latin fusion band from Perth Amboy, The Rollbacks.

Live at the Ferry Slip Kickoff May 18th featuring Proper and Tequila Bamboo

Live at the Ferry Slip Original Music Series Season 4 kicks off on Saturday May 18th at 7pm featuring Proper and Tequila Bamboo. The show is free & all ages. Enjoy a great evening on the waterfront featuring Perth Amboy artists and also visit the Ferry Slip Museum.

Proper plays Trova style music with original songs showcasing distinct elements of Afro beat, rock, salsa and orchestral arrangement. Tequila Bamboo play Afro Cuban and Brazilian jazz and combine reggae rhythms to produce unique music.

Enjoy free live music from 7-9pm and beautiful waterviews at the Perth Amboy Ferry Slip located at 300 Front St, Perth Amboy, NJ. Also enjoy the bars and restaurants along the Perth Amboy Waterfront, including The Barge Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant, The Armory Restaurant and Tiki Bar, and Bayside Creamery Ice Cream Parlor. Free parking and bathrooms are available at the Perth Amboy Marina next to the Ferry Slip.
